I moved to Swansea in 2014, having spent nearly a decade working overseas as both a Travel Journalist and an Expedition Leader. I have always loved being outdoors. I am a trained Mountain Leader with a passion for long-distance trails and remote camping. More recently, you’ll find me tinkering in my garden or out with my dog.

For the last ten years I’ve been here in Swansea, raising my family. I love exploring this brilliant corner of planet earth with my three boys and our various four-legged friends. And I still love a fresh-air escape, with a flask of coffee, a wide horizon and some canine company.

This year I revisited my original degree qualification in Animal Behaviour and it rekindled my love of working with animals. I followed up with an Accredited Diploma in Dog Walking, Boarding and Care, and Canine First Aid qualification before launching Wild Ways, Comfy Stays in Summer 2025.

Your dog’s well-being is my priority. I have a kind, patient approach and offer your dog a nurturing, stable environment – at home, on the trail and everything in-between.

My care is tailored to each dog’s unique needs and personality, working with small numbers. This means I can provide dedicated attention to each dog.

I’m a ‘details’ girl – fully-insured and registered. I’m also CRB-checked and I have been inspected by Swansea Council and awarded my License to Board.

My dedicated van is spacious, clean and fully equipped to transport dogs safely and legally. With crates and clip-in harnesses, a Canine First Aid kit, plenty of toys, plus food, water, towels and treats.

I’m new, so I have availability. I’m friendly and reliable, and I respond quickly to inquiries.
