I moved to Swansea in 2014, after a career in travel journalism and outdoor education. During this time, I was lucky enough to work all over the world. I documented everything from motorbiking the Himalayas to turtle conservation in the tropics. I also led several expeditions into remote environments, combining my passions for long-distance trails and remote camping.

More recently, I’ve been happily raising my family (while my rucksack gathers dust in the garage!). I love exploring this brilliant corner of planet earth with my three boys and our various four-legged friends.

Having recently revisited my original degree qualification in Animal Behaviour, it rekindled my love of working with animals. I started an Accredited Diploma in Dog Walking, Boarding and Care, before launching Wild Ways, Comfy Stays in Summer 2025. I’m very excited to be offering this new service. Your dog’s well-being is my priority. I have a kind, patient approach. I offer your dog a nurturing, stable environment – at home, on the trail and everything in-between.

Care is tailored to each dog’s unique needs and personality, working with very small numbers. My walks are limited to three dogs (or less!), overnights stays to two. This means I can give dedicated attention to each dog, and manage their care calmly, and confidently.

A ‘details’ girl – fully-insured and registered (Sarah, Dog Walker Swansea, Wild Ways Comfy Stays). I’m DBS-checked and I am regularly inspected by Swansea Council for my Boarding License.

My dedicated van is spacious, clean and fully equipped to transport dogs safely and legally. With crates and clip-in harnesses, a Canine First Aid kit, plenty of toys, plus food, water, towels and treats.
